Carlos Cordero was born in San Cristóbal, Venezuela and moved to Hampton, South Carolina when he was four years old. His family then moved to Bluffton when he was ten years old. He graduated from Hilton Head Island High School before earning both his Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina. After his first year of law school, Carlos began working as a law clerk for Vaux Marscher Berglind, PA. Carlos earned his Juris Doctor in 2022.
Following his graduation from law school, Carlos clerked for the Honorable Robert J. Bonds in the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. He became familiar with the inner workings of the court system and enjoyed meeting the courthouse staff in the various county courthouses closest to Bluffton. After completing his clerkship, Carlos returned to Vaux Marscher Berglind, P.A. as an associate attorney in the fall of 2023. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, criminal law, probate, and business litigation. Carlos is a native Spanish speaker and enjoys assisting the Firm’s Spanish speaking clients with various different issues.
Carlos enjoys golfing, spending time with his friends and family, and loves calling the lowcountry his home.
